Our Teachers
Our program is run by an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and a Teacher Assistant. Our caring and qualified educators are committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment. They are certified in First Aid and Standard CPR.

Gabrielle Brune
Gaby has been a beloved part of Carp Cooperative Nursery School since 2012. She loves interacting with the children and encouraging their curious, creative minds. Her goal is to ensure that every child thrives in our safe, loving and nurturing environment. Gaby is passionate about inclusion in the classroom and believes that all children can succeed in a positive setting. In her free time, she loves to read and enjoys camping, canoeing and being outdoors in general.

Gaby teaches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Tess MacMillan
Tess has worked in a variety of environments with children including Kindergarten classrooms and The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. She taught at the nursery school a number of years ago and is now back in the Teacher role again. Given her fun and creative personality, it's no surprise that Tess loves watching the children learn through play and finding ways to encourage them to use their imaginations. She also strives to create a safe, fun and nurturing space for the children to learn and grow. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, painting with watercolours and reading.
Tess teaches on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Anne McGinn
Anne has been a teacher assistant in our program since September 2021. Her warm, loving and fun personality fits right in at CCNS, making every student feel welcomed and valued. As a graduate from Algonquin College's Developmental Service Worker program, Anne has over 30 years experience working for the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, gardening and reading.
Anne supports our program on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Tamara Kramer
Tamara is the newest addition to the Carp Cooperative Nursery School family. Her life-long love of being around children started with babysitting then led to working in daycares, becoming a nanny, having children of her own then running her own home daycare. Her passion is to nurture, teach, love, support and encourage every child she encounters. She loves to watch the world through their eyes, as they use their imaginations, get creative, learn something new or belly laugh! When she isn't spending time with children, she enjoys sitting down with a good book, spending time outdoors, and having dance parties in her living room.
Tamara supports our program on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
